 Plate Sales are traditionally fundraisers that help raise money for individuals, families, small businesses, school groups, etc.  This plate sale benefited my friend Stephanie's sister Yazmin, who has been diagnosed with Stage IV Astrocytoma (brain cancer) and funds raised will help with her ongoing medical bills, her family's travel (her treatment is a 4 hours drive from her home), bills, and family needs.

 My parents and I were in a commercial for Help Heal Vets.  Help Heal Vets is an organization that provides veterans all over the nation  with free craft kits to help them heal from the wounds they receive during their service.
